Veteran catcher Ivan Rodriguez is our Friday spring training player of the day. Ivan went 3 for 3 with a homerun during the spring training contest. Rodriguez joined the Posse this year from the Ironmen for Kris Benson and a couple prospects. He is expected to catch against lefties this year in a platoon with Jorge Posada, though there have been rumors that he may be traded for a top prospect.
