Posse close out draft

The Oak Ridges Posse closed out their draft in the fourth round by taking High School junior starter Zach Wheeler. "We believe the high school junior pitching prospects are extremely strong and see Wheeler as one of the best of the class, along with Chris Jenkins and Matt Graham.", stated GM Shawn Luddington.

Wheeler is a super projectable 6-4/175 RHP with a magical arm. His arm works fairly effortlessly on his 89-92 mph fastball. His pitches leave his hand cleanly and just explode at the plate. He has three quality pitches that should all end up in the plus range before he is a senior in high school. He repeats his delivery well and shows good command. Wheeler at the 200+ pounds he will end up is a very scary thought. He's a kid that will move way up in all rankings lists of 09 prospects and before he's done he could be right up near the top.
