On the weekend the Florida Marlins announced the promotion of Chris Volstad from AA to the majors. They quickly leveraged him on Sunday as he grabbed the win with two shutout innings in relief.
Volstad will now join the rotation, and he will get his first big league start on Friday against Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium.
